This New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, LWE is determined to deliver the exact opposite of  last year’s limp excuse. NYE/NYD 2021-22 is going to be a double celebration as isolation is off the menu, and beaming smiles and togetherness are mandatory.

Starting on Friday 31st December with Love Unlimited at O2 Brixton Academy, we present the biggest celebration of house and disco in the Capital this NYE. This will be followed by the first LWE NYD event at Tobacco Dock in 4 years, before the party rolls right through to Sunday 2nd January as we present the debut of the mighty Ben Klock at Ministry of Sound.

LOVE UNLIMITED NYE

Pushing things ever forward whilst doffing a hat to our roots, Love Unlimited is the NYE reset that London is calling out for. 

Inspired by the huge dancefloors of the original discotheques, the mighty O2 Academy Brixton, one of the most prestigious venues in the country, is the perfect playground for our vision. The behemoth space allows for production opportunities that would not be feasible at most other London nightspots. Expect production to reflect the magnitude of the occasion, with the central focus placed on quality of the sound systems and the hedonism of the dancefloor.

For such a special night, we welcome artists who are not only revered for their skill and selections, but individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Artists who are not only at the forefront of the industry, but also know all about the lineage and interlocking strands of dance music’s rich tapestry, providing a bridge between the past, the present and the future. This includes The Blessed Madonna, Hunee, Jayda G, TSHA, Alma Negra and B.Love.

LWE NEW YEARS DAY

London’s biggest New Year’s Day party returns to Tobacco Dock. Expect a session of unparalleled underground sounds and bespoke production as we embark upon the first LWE NYD show since 2018.

Over 20 of the world’s leading names in underground house and techno will join us across 4 explosive rooms of music. Featuring heavyweight names like Enzo Siragusa, Hot Since 82, Loco Dice and Maya Jane Coles, to hot rising talent like Anfisa Letyago, Anthea, Barry Can't Swim and Chloé Robinson.

BEN KLOCK NYD AT MINISTRY OF SOUND

The personification of Berlin techno, Ben Klock is known for extended sets and punishing beats. The Berghain resident has been on a quest to bring his unique brand of techno to the best sound systems in the world, which is why he will continue this path on NYD when he takes control of one of London’s finest sound systems for the very first time.

Crystal clear across all frequencies, yet still pounding, the Ministry of Sound’s system has been tweaked and updated down the years, but always pushes the envelope, as the industry-leading benchmark. We can’t wait to bring Ben to SE1.

Featuring some of the very best names in techno with the likes of Willow, Ryan Elliot, Gilmer Galibard, Joe Rolét, The Menendez Brothers and Maze & Masters, this event is going to be the best way to conclude your New Year’s celebrations.
